Twilight Saga Eclipse in IMAX Theatres

Have you heard of the Twilight Saga yet? I think the better question is have you read the books, seen the first two movies or Both? As a twenty-something male I have to say that the movies are more geared towards females. The casters chose a couple "pretty boys" and the lead female has that average girl next door look. Obviously the choice of cast was brilliant as the success of the movies has been amazing. I remember in November of 2008 when the wife took me to see Twilight, I thought that it might be cool because it had vampires and blood and stuff. I quickly discovered that despite it's blueish foggy environment it was definitely a love story in the making. However I have always considered myself to be somewhat tame at heart and able to tolerate the "chick flicks" better than the average guy. Regardless, the first movie was good and I felt that it deserved a sequel.

With all the hype of the werewolves in the Twilight Saga: New Moon I felt that the second movie might have a little more "manspiration". It did as there was some fighting, death scenes and a whole lot of depression. I left the theatre feeling as though the story was heading in a good direction. They have successfully left me curious enough that I'm interested to know what happens next. I actually have developed an opinion for what I think should happen. I'm also tempted to read the books as I don't want to wait until the Twilight Saga: Eclipse just to see what happens. I've been sucked in by the story... which is bad as I can feel that my manhood is deteriorating.

Either way though I (we?) won't have to wait long as the third film, the Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be released to IMAX theatres simultaneously with the film's launch on June 30, 2010. I'm entertained by this as the IMAX theatre has unparalleled sound and picture quality, making it a very desirable place to watch movies. It's also a good move by IMAX as they are bringing in a new type of movie to draw a larger fan base to their theatres. I believe that watching any movie is better in an IMAX theare, so seeing a blockbuster like this will be that much more entertaining.

So I hope you've sunken' your teeth into the movies or the books, as this IMAX experience will be an entertaining one.
